Jeongdong Theater ( 정동극장 )

Jeongdong Theater will appear at the end of Jeongdong-gil, one of the most beautiful walks in Seoul. There are many things to look at such as Deoksugung Palace, Former Russian Legation, and Jeongdong Church around the classical theater that brings everyone back to the late period of Joseon in 1900’s. Jeongdong Theater is a small scale theater with 283 seats but it is the restoration of ‘Wongaksa,’ which was the first theater in Korea. There is an outside resting place, Ssamji Plaza, and an Italian restaurant, Gildeulyeojigy.
