Bank of Korea Museum ( 한국은행화폐박물관 )

This building was used as Bank of Joseon headquarters in 1911. It turned into the Bank of Korea Money Museum since 2001. It was opened for educational and cultural space, exhibiting all the money from all over the world that the Bank of Korea houses, and the process of producing money. The history of money is all here, from the money of the Goryeo era to the trace that the foreign currency of Russia, Japan, and Mexico were used in Korea during the period after the opening of the port. Visitors can also learn about the work Bank of Korea does, and the origin of the central bank system. There are experiencing education center where children can produce model money themselves, special exhibition gallery, and Bank of Korea gallery.
