Wild Grape Farm ( 희망포도농원 )

Wild grapes are grown throughout Korea as a short-term income crop of forest.

Wild grapes, appointed the traditional food of Paju by Agricultural Services in 1995, had  been a common kind of grapes, but became a rare traditional food due to environmental  pollution.

In particular, they exported Wild Grapes Juice for the first time in world history and their Ode New a processed product of wild grapes was awarded the 1st prize at the 2nd Gyeonggi’s Superior Tourism Memorials Contest.

Wild grapes are mountainous fruits with abundant contents of calcium, phosphorous, iron,  pollen and anthocyanin. It is in grape family and is a vinery tree plant that grows in  mountains 100~1,300m above sea level and up to 10m in length. They are mostly edible and  also used for decorations and herbal medicines. The fruit is fermented into wine and the  trees are planted to decorate gardens and orchards.
