Udo or you can call it Cow Island, is the largest island off of Jeju’s shores.
It is named Cow Island because it is said to resemble the shape of a cow lying on its side. It has been the scene for many Korean movies and dramas because of its unique and picturesque landscapes and beautiful sunsets. The sun can be seen setting to the west as Halla San blankets Jeju Island in its shadow.
The island is famous for its ability to grow sweet potatoes, and peanuts.
