Korea Furniture Museum is an architecture and traditional furniture museum which is located in Seongbuk-dong. This museum was built as a personal project of a former Yonsei University professor, Chyung Mi-sook who amassed 2000 pieces of Joseon Dynasty furniture over the past five decades. She wanted to create a beautiful space where people can truly experience how Korean actually used to live embracing nature, philosophy, humanity, a beauty of Korea. So, The structure of the hanok and design of exquisite traditional furniture are well preserved in this museum.
